Reflexology is a a system of working the reflexes in the feet and hands, which corresponds to every organ and gland in the body.  It is used to bring about a sense of relaxation and help to treat illness in the body.  

Reflexology has been practised for thousands of years. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all glands, organs, parts and systems of the body. 

Applying pressure to these reflex areas, using the thumb, finger and hand will result in the reduction of stress which promotes physiological changes in the body.

You will be assesed on this course by theory and practical exam.  You will also complete a set of Case Studies that will be internally assessed and inspected by the ITEC Examiner
