Have a brand new career as a makeup artist MUA and have an internationally recognised qualification with this ITEC Part-Time Makeup course. It runs on a Saturday 1.30-4.30pm. This will allow you to work and learn at the same time!

You can finally begin an exciting and rewarding career in the Beauty Industry as Makeup Artist. This qualification will allow you to work as a freelance makeup artist, work in a salon as a makeup artist or work on counters in Department stores or pharmacies.

We have linked in with bPerfect and will be offering their student makeup and professional brush kit on this course.

For the skin section of the course students will use Dermalogica products.  Students will also have access to Dermalgica training and this is included in the course price.  You can avail of the Dermalogica Aspire programme and enhanced employability programmes.

Course Aim

The main aim of the ITEC Certificate in Makeup (Makeup course) is to enable Learners to provide treatments for the purposes of enhancing your client’s good features and minimise areas of concern. We will also work with you to develop your skills in Makeup looks such as Light day, Evening, Special Occasion and Bridal.

During this course we will offer you a chance to train with a Fuschia master Makeup artist. Upon completion of the Part Time Makeup Course, the student will be fully qualified and competent to work as a Makeup artist.

Learner Profile


Makeup to include: Superficial cleanse, skin alalysis, Skin Types and conditions. You will also study Contouring, Face, eye, nose and lip shapes. Looks such as Light day, Evening, Special Occasion and Bridal. You will also learn about cosmetic science. Other subjects such as hygiene, client care, consultation will also be covered.
